The Opera House of Pacific offers a variety of scalable venues and services to assist in making your wedding or event as perfect as you have imagined! Whether it's assisting with decor, full wedding planning or consulting, we will customize our packages and facilities to meet your needs.

History

The Opera House built of materials of the St. Louis 1904 World’s Fair, is located on the third floor of the McHugh & Dailey Mercantile Building in the heart of Old Town Pacific. For most of the 20th century, the Pacific “Opera House” has dominated the city’s skyline as the biggest and most impressive building. The exquisite red brick landmark built ostensibly for Pacific’s retail, cultural and social activities is available for private events such as weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, banquets, family reunions, corporate events, conventions, birthday’s, graduation parties, and more. The McHugh & Dailey Building also features a restaurant on the first floor and office suites, meeting and party rooms on the second floor.

How long is my rental?

When you book with The Opera House of Pacific, the space belongs exclusively to you and your guests for the agreed amount of time you paid for with your contract.

What is included in my rental price?

Exclusive use of the Opera House / room(s) booked for agreed time frame, all tables and chairs (which can be set up for you for an additional $150), a sound system (Opera House), Kitchen Set Up Room (Opera House), and a projector with screen (Opera House).

How do I reserve a date with Opera House?

We secure dates with a 50% non-refundable deposit and a $200 security deposit that is returned if no damage is done to venue. Just fill out an event request form on our home page and we will be in touch to look at the date your are requesting and set up a time to come in and book.

How do I schedule up a tour?

We would love to give you a tour of our facility. First, please fill out an event request form or contact us at (636) 393-0489 and we will be in touch to set that up!!

Are any decorations prohibited?

We do not allow real candles indoors (flameless candles are allowed) or glitter. We also ask that if you choose to hang anything in the space, you use command strips, or an alternative that will leave our walls undamaged.

Can I bring in outside food or alcohol?

Food can be provided by you or a caterer of your choice. All alcohol must be provided by the Opera House.

What is your capacity?

We can host 150-seated guests in the Opera House, 40 in the Mercantile Room, 15 in the President’s Room, and 20 in the Bridal Suite.

Can we leave decorations and other items for pick up the next day?

The venue must be clear of all items by or before 12:00 A.M. the day of your rental. We want to make sure the space is beautiful and ready for the guests who come in after your event.
